I am having issues with The Quill not pumping correctly. Is it defective?

How to use Sarco Skin Tape?

APPLY A TEST STRIP
If this is your first time using Sarco Skin kinesiology tape, place a small test strip somewhere easy to monitor – we recommend your arm, to make sure you do not have an allergic reaction to any of the ingredients/materials.
When applying a test strip, leave it on for a full day – if you notice irritation or pain whatsoever, take off the tape right awa.
2. TRIM THE CORNERS
This will help prevent the tape from catching on clothing or peeling up.
3. TRIM, MOVE OR REMOVE EXCESS HAIR
Depending on where you are applying the kinesiology tape, you may need to take care of the hair in the area beforehand. This will greatly help adhesion time.
4. CLEAN AND DRY THE SKIN
Before you place your kinesiology tape, make sure that the application area is clean, free of lotions or oils, and is completely dry.
If you are applying Sarco Skin shortly after working out, wait until your body is done sweating before placing the product.
PLACE THE TAPE AT LEAST 1 HOUR BEFORE EXERCISING
This gives the adhesive time to strengthen its hold, and the active ingredients to start working.
5. RECOMMENDED STRETCH
Sarco Skin is latex free and works best with a 25% stretch.
6. REMOVING SARCO SKIN TAPE
Once it’s time for your Sarco Skin tape to come off, there are a few things to make the process a little more comfortable:

Make sure the tape is COMPLETELY dry.

DO NOT use any oils to assist in removing.

Press down on your skin to make it taught.

How do I dose CBD?
Always consult a physician before supplementation.
This dosing chart does not account for absorption rate. Arcanum's Quill has a 90% absorption rate. The tinctures (if taken sublingually) have a +/- 40% absorption rate.
Dosing statement: Arcanum Strongly believes in microdosing, reaching the recommended daily microdose with at least two servings per day. This does not inundate the ECS (endocannabinoid system) with too many cannabinoids at once, thus delivering exogenous cannabinoids systemically that your body can use and utilize. In other words, your body will use the cannabinoids and not metabolize them, flushing them out creating expensive urine, and shutting down your ECS in the process.
Start with microdosing and slowly work your way up to higher doses. Arcanum does not recommend using the higher end of the standard dosing on this chart unless you have consulted a doctor.
Uniquely Arcanum:
Arcanum Tactical +/- 36 mgs CBD per dropper. Tinctures go systemic at +/- 40% absorption rate. Therefore, one dropper of +/- 36mg CBD0 delivers 14.4milligrams of CBD systemically.
Coil @ 750mg will have approximately 26.8 mgs/ml. At a +/- 40% absorption rate that is 10.7 milligrams of systemic delivery per ML.
Coil @ 1500mg will have approximately 53.6 mg/ml. At a =/-40% absorption rate that is 21.4 milligrams of systemic delivery per ML.
The Quill has +2.0 milligrams per pump @ a 90% absorption rate is 1.8 mg of systemic cannabinoids per pump.
